It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Hackett of Iron River, Michigan, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hackett and Lois Hackett (Hamilton); his spouse Jan Haldin; his brother Bruce Hackett; and his granddaughter Adrianna Lee Ceron.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amber Lee Sarafiny (Barry Wheelis) of Iron River, MI and Kelli Hackett Crane (Josh) of Lake Forest, CA; his brothers, Lee Hackett of Crystal Falls, MI and Daniel Hackett of Arizona; his grandchildren, Isabelle Vander Steen, Winter Little, Shane Kretzschmar, Tess, Zane, Raegan Sarafiny and Jameson Crane; and his great grandchildren, Octavia Vander Steen and Gary Newby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
