She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shawano and Evelyn Shawano (Williams); her son Brandon Synol; and her sisters, Sandra White and Delphine Wewasson.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Hurkmans of Iron River, MI; and her daughter Audra Kruger (David) of Shawano, WI. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
