It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth I. Christofferson of Iron River, Michigan, born in Stambaugh, Michigan, who passed away on June 26, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Seilo and Linnea Seilo (Jokippi); her spouse Melford Christofferson; her siblings, Wayne, Reino, Donald Seilo, Aileen Seilo and Helen Suomi; and her son-in-law Jerome Waldron.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Christofferson (Paraskevi) of Iron River, MI, Darlene Felber (Arthur) of Hartford, WI, Nancy Waldron of Iron River, MI and Julie Ann Groves (William) of Rialto, CA. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
