He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lloyd and Gertrude Symmonds (Baume); his children, Robert J. Symmonds and Allison Gaglio; and his grandson Matthew Gagilo.
He is survived by: his son David Symmonds of Crystal Falls, MI; his grandchildren, Amanda Zambon, Lindsey Erickson (Grant) and Nicholas Gaglio; his great grandchildren, Amber Lynn, Kane Gaglio, Kyla Jay, Karter Jon Erickson and Wyatt David Zambon; his sisters, Carolyn Orchard of Crystal Falls, MI, Helen Smith (Jerome) of Grand Rapids, MI and Priscilla Povilus (Bill) of Las Vegas, NV; and his close friend Barb Norman of Iron River, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
