We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2023, at the age of 88, Richard E. Harju Sr. of Iron River, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Harju and Senia Harju (Salo); his brother David Harju; and his stepfather William Maki. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Benter; his children, Richard Harju, Jr. (Julie Noblet) of Iron River, Shari Donati (Mark) of Iron River, MI and Lisa Harju of Iron River, MI; his sister Gloria Hardecke of Sullivan, MO; his brother-in-law Bob Benter of Tipler, WI; his grandchildren, Eric Donati (Nicole), Jacob Donati, Britnee Campbell and Tayley Linley; and his great grandchildren, Riddick, Calia and Tyler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
