With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael E. Van Ackeren of Iron River, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on April 4, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Van Ackeren and Beverly VanAckeren. He is survived by: his siblings, Timothy Van Ackeren (Mary) and Virginia Schram (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Chris Van Ackeren (Taylor), Mike Van Ackeren, Ali Smars (Keith), Nick Schram, Brett Schram (Leanne) and Alicia Kinney (Nick); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alannah, Kaelyn, Scarlett, Wade, Logan, Kit, Hyla and Camden.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Inc. of Iron River (405 W Cayuga St, Iron River, MI 49935). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
