Marianne M. Hanold Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne M. Hanold of Iron River, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalmers McGreaham and Meta McGreaham (Wege); her husband Joseph Hanold of Mary's Church; her son Jeff Hanold; her siblings, Chalmers, Charles McGreaham, Marguerite Carlson and Maren Steele; and her stepfather Dr. Robert E. White.
She is survived by: her children, John Hanold (Lisa) of Iron River, MI, Jody Hanold (Penny) of Crystal Falls, MI and Jane Gustafson (Kelly) of Iron River, MI; and her grandchildren, Erin, Kirsten, Sean, Jessica, Michael, Eric, Christina and John. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations in Marianne's memory to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
