She was predeceased by: her parents, John Maki and Ailie Maki (Laakaniemi); and her siblings, Clifford, Dean Maki and Junette Maki.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Upperstrom; her children, Kevin Upperstrom (Christina) of Iron River, MI, James Upperstrom (Patty) of Elkhorn, WI, Rhonda Brunswick (Mike) of Iron Mountain, MI and Cathy Alessandrini (Dale) of Iron Mountain, MI; her siblings, Wayne Maki (Diane) of Nevada and Shirley Mortl of Racine, WI; her grandchildren, Michael Brunswick, Stephanie Coe, Erica Taylor, Rhonda Brey, Jackie Koski, Cory Upperstrom, Craig Upperstrom, Erick Upperstrom, Tyler Upperstrom, Mario Alessandrini and Matt Alessandrini; and her niece Donna Paul of Caspian, MI. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
