He was predeceased by: his parent Donald W.; and his brother Mike Lewis. He is survived by: his parent Joan Peterson (Weyn); his children, Joseph Peterson, Jr. of Eugene, OR, Adam Peterson (Sarah) of Sterling, VA, Daniel Peterson (Danielle) of Oak Harbor, WA and Sara Peterson of Fort Myers, FL; and his siblings, Roseann Roberson (Jim), Don Peterson, Terri Johnson (Dave), Jan Waddell (Bob), Mary Clay, Chris Peterson (Missy), Chuck Peterson, Sam McCormick (Dan), Rose Zinkann (Gary) and JoAnne Clark (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
