We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2024, at the age of 88, John Oberlin of Iron River, Michigan, born in McMillan, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Oberlin and Cleo Oberlin (Kalnbach); his son-in-law Greg George; and his great grandchild Luna Flanagan. He is survived by: his wife Helen Stover; his children, Joyce Oberlin of Tecumseh, Jon Oberlin (Jan) of Iron River, Mark Oberlin (Lois) of Ada, Scott Oberlin (Lauri) of Crystal Falls and Jean Bjorkman (Jeff) of Iron River; and his siblings, Michael Oberlin (Dawn) of Michigan, Mary Ellen Christian (Gordon) of Kentucky and Dolores Macaro (Ray) of Alabama. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Iron County Cancer Unit or Lakeland Baptist Church in John's name.
