With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Johnson (Iron River, Michigan), who passed away on December 27, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Nellie Johnson (Jenkins); his daughter Linda Johnson; his siblings, William Johnson and Lila Johnson; his brother-in-law William Nyquist; and his nephew Curtis Nyquist.

He is survived by: his wife Sally May; his son Donald Johnson (Kathleen) of Alvin, WI; his brothers, Robert Johnson (Sandy) of Caspian, MI and David Johnson (Leann) of Caspian, MI; his grandchildren, Courtney Johnson, Jackie Johnson, Scott Johnson and Heather Coates; his great grandchildren, Jack Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Trinity Johnson, Hailey Coates and Hannah Coates; and his pet Sampson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
