With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emil Janik Jr. of Iron River, Michigan, born in Westmont, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Valasta and Emil Janik Sr.; his brothers, Quetico Provincial Park and Boundary Waters; his children, Dave Janik (Jennifer), Amy Hall (Richard) and Daniel Janik (Patti); his grandchildren, Courtney Janik, Blaine Marjama, Matthew Janik, Nathan Hall (Bonnie), Travis Hall (Anna), Kaitlyn Neel (Dylan), Robin Janik (Jessie), Callie Bishop (Thomas), Emily Janik, Sebastian Petak, Daniel Jr. Janik (Julia) and Mary Janik; his great grandchildren, Luke, Solomon Hall, Mera Hall, Myles Neel, Isla Bishop and Radka Janik; his brother Robert Janik (Patricia); and his nephew Alexander Janik.
