He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Henrietta; his wife Dorothy Loonsfoot; his son-in-law James Zhuckkahosee; and his grandson Joseph McGeshick.
He is survived by: his son Jon Ehlinger (Debbie); his stepdaughters, Colleen Gagnea (Bob) and Rhoda Zhuckkahosee; and also, Vantasia Marie, Preston James, Gage Joseph, Piper Lynn and Kinsley Dorothy. He is also survived by many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
