He is survived by: his wife Karen Mattson; his sons, Daniel Kallio (Tanya) of Iron River, MI and Wayne Kallio (Kristin) of Wausau, WI; his sister Ruth Kallio of Ann Arbor, MI; his sisters-in-law, Ilene Mattson and Miriam Mattson; and his grandchildren, Grace, Emily, Andrew Kallio, Bailey, Brennan and Lexi Rullcoski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (235 E Genesee St, Iron River, MI 49935). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
