He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gagnea and Myrtle Gagnea (Baker); and his siblings, John "Jack", Robert, Odean Gagnea, Lillian Pitts, Agnes Erickson, Barbara and Georgia Gagnea.
He is survived by: his wife Ardis Carlson; his children, Robert Gagnea (Sharon) of Iron River, MI, Ruth Golas (Ben) of Eau Claire, WI and Barbara Shaw (Keith) of Grand Blanc, MI; and his siblings, Roy Gagnea of Iron River, MI and Irene Donati of Iron River, MI. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
