She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Patterson and Jeanette Patterson (Tomassoni); her husband Larry Phillips; her brother Jim Patterson; and her siblings-in-law, Geri Patterson and Brian Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Piper (Jason Moore) of Iron River, Robert Phillips of Iron Mountain and Mary Anderson (Kyle) of Henderson, NV; her grandchildren, Shelby Piper (Shane McPherson), Vance Phillips, Lacie Phillips, Elsa Anderson and Reed Anderson; her great grandchild Colby McPherson; and her siblings, Marilyn Shaw, Rick Patterson, Mike Patterson and Patti Menza (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to benefit the Almost Home Animal Shelter.
