He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tachick and Bertha Tachick (Ermis); his brothers, Harold Tachick, Alvin Tachick and Harvey Tachick; his sisters-in-law, Edna Tachick and Dolores Tachick; and his close friend Darrell Finley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Moore; his children, Dede Johnson (Scott), Dirk Tachick (Chrissy), Tim Tachick (Steph), Deneen Tachick, Tom Moore (Jessica), Sarah Paternoster (Mike), David Moore (Hiromi) and Patrick Moore (Sara); his sister Margaret Gusick (Buddy); his grandchildren, Lillian, Dane, Rosie, Brendon, Jack, Gavin, Kenzie, Halle, Cam, Kaiden, Sam, Zoe, James, Dalton, Evan, Sully, Alyssa and Markus; and his former wife Dixie Luoma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family who will be establishing a memorial scholarship endowment for local area high school students attending the Electrical Line Technicians at Northern Michigan University.
