He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura LaVigne and Albert LaVigne; his sister Mary Ann Hart; and his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Wallace Gustafson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lavigne (Gustafson); his children, Renee LaVigne and Gerald LaVigne; and his siblings, Hector LaVigne (Shirley), Patrick LaVigne (Beth) and Phyllis Wartick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
