She was predeceased by: her significant other John Battista Pozza (Jack) of Iron Mountain; her parents, Ben Smithson and Vienna Smithson; her siblings, Russell, Ben Jr., Lyle Smithson and Ruth Ann Weber; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Smithson, Gertrude Smithson, Doris Smithson and Carolyn Smithson.
She is survived by: her children, John Pozza (Paula) of Temecula, Jayelene Betonti (Mark) of Keswick and Joelle Shreves (Ken) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, Julian Pozza, Nicholas, Dominique Betonti, Hayden Pozza-Gaskell, Charlie Shreves (Brenna) and Andy Shreves; and her great grandchild Josie Blair Shreves. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
