She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Baumler and Margaret "Tootie" Baumler (Kesler); her husband Louis Nicolas; her sister Peg; her siblings-in-law, Don Gunville, Florian Bray, George Nicolas, Alfonsine and Robert Perdzock; and her nephew Joe Gunville.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hunter (Glenn) of Spread Eagle, Kathryn Mortensen of Amery, WI, James Nicolas (Mary Jean) of Breitung Twp, LuAnn Edens (Bill) of Breitung Twp and Richard Nicolas (Debra) of Elizabeth, CO; her sister Pat Bray of Kingsford; her grandchildren, Jeff Hunter (Carrie), Bryan Hunter (Danielle), Erik Mortensen (Kelly), Kim Gould (Josh), Kristin Hanson (Ryan), Andy Nicolas (Eliza Jane), Jenna Quadrani (Anthony), Amy Edens, Jennifer Lambrecht (Matt), Clare and Jason Nicolas; her great grandchildren, Chase Hunter, Rhemi Mercier, Tanner, Luke, Sydnee Mortensen, Ella, Anna, Addison Gould, Austin, Owen Hanson, Ryder, Matilda Nicolas, Adisson Trulock, Amelia Quadrani, Beckett and Lincoln Lambrecht; and her son-in-law Mort Mortensen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
