LaVera Schaffer Obituary

We bid farewell to LaVera Schaffer of Iron Mountain, Michigan, born in Leslie, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 8, 2024 at the age of 91. LaVera touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervil Hatch and Edna Hatch (Gailey); her husband Dale; her son Roger Schaffer; and her son-in-law Terry Vallejos.

She is survived by: her children, Gale Schaffer, Darlene King (Raymond), Joseph Schaffer (Lindsay), Bradley Schaffer (Jilonne) and Lorrie Vallejos; and her brother Claude Hatch. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
