He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Collins and Lillian Collins (Fillion); his spouse Shirley Haines; and his siblings, Robert Collins, Marion Collins and Anita Carollo.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Derouin (Frank) of Iron Mountain, Tom Collins of Iron Mountain and Jerry Collins (Tammy) of Iron Mountain. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
