With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James B. Saxon of Iron Mountain, Michigan, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James B. Saxon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Saxon and Ruth Saxon (Gustafson); his brother Robert "Bob" Saxon; and his brothers-in-law, Kurt Krafski and Bill Buchcuski.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Liz Schenk (Curtis) of Watonga, OK, Kim Fernandez (Ernesto) of Thomas, OK and Derek Saxon (Kaitlyn) of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Abrianna, Jeremiah, Caleb Fernandez, Olivia, Sydney Hampton, Charlotte and Emma Saxon; his siblings, Charlene Krafski of Wichita, KS, Shirley Schmidt (Larry) of Wichita, KS, Randy Saxon (Betty) of Elizabethtown, KY, Nancy Buchcuski-Shimwela (Nicky) of Iron Mountain, MI, Dar Es Salaam and Tanzania; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Johnson (Debbie) of Rochelle, IL and Kris Saxon of Kingsford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital in Jim's memory.
