He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Richtig and Bobbi Jean Richtig (Smith) of Iron Mountain; his grandparents, Charles, Denise Smith of Iron Mountain, Mary Lee, Jim Baldwin of Austin, AR, John and Joanie Richtig of Iron Mountain; his sisters, Courtney Richtig (Nathan Markell) and Valerie Richtig; and his niece Salem. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Gabe's name at the First National Bank & Trust of Iron Mountain.
