He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Alden and Lorraine Alden (Steiner); his wife Sharon Covey; and his siblings, Willie Alden, Betty Ducharme, Rita Carlson and Mary Meyers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Gaffney, Susie Flesch, Sandy Klahn, Patsy "Patty" Studer (David) and Bonnie Alden; and his brothers, Ken Alden (Pat) and Louis Alden (Carol). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
