She was predeceased by: her husband Peter J. Tarenski; her parents, Andrew "Andy" Chamberlain and Mary "Mamie" Chamberlain (Marcella); her siblings, LaVerne Quick, Howard Chamberlain and Marvin Chamberlain; her parents-in-law, Peter P. and Josephine Tarenski (Jedrasek); her siblings-in-law, Leroy "Bud" Quick, Arline Tarenski and Dorothy McCarthy; and her nephew Mike J. Quick.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Tarenski of Niagara, Caryn Murphy (Bill) and Paul Tarenski of Niagara; her grandchildren, Allison Murphy (Harrison Garo) of Highland Park, III. and John Murphy (Cassie Coffman) of Millcreek; her great grandchildren, Liam Garo and Evan Garo of Highland Park; and her sisters-in-law, Ethel Chamberlain of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis and Lorraine Lax (Bill) of Elgin, III.. She is also survived by five nieces and two nephews.
In Sept. 1988, Dolores entered the American Heart Association of Metropolitan Chicago - Food Festival - Heart-Healthy Cookie Recipe Contest.
