She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorraine Marshall and Margaret Marshall (McClure); her husband Gene T. Chapoton; and her brother Robert Marshall (Patricia). She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Jamie) and Michael (Caitlin); her grandchildren, Anna and Tate; and her sibling Jerry Marshall (Carol).

Memorials may be made to the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation.
