He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Grasl and May Grasl; and his brother-in-law Steven Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy"; his sons, Gary Grasl, Marc Netherton and Christopher Herbon (Zenaida); his granddaughters, Olivia Grasl and Evelyn Grasl; his siblings, Kenneth Grasl (Ingrid), Ronald Grasl (Brigitte) and Audrey Polak (Allen); and his siblings-in-law, MaryEllen Toy (Charles), David Wallace (Robbie), Barbara Wallace, Virginia Daniels, Tom Wallace (Cara), Loreen Stay (Scott) and Carolyn Walker (Rob).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Rock Community Church Kingdom Builders Ministry appreciated.

“Kathy, I am not sure if I ever met you but my brother and I grew up with Harley and his family in East Detroit and went to Calvary Assembly of God together. We were close friends. I always knew Harley and his brothers to be good and faithful people and I know throughout their lives it has been the same. My wife and I live in the state of Washington and we both send our condolences and prayers. May God richly bless you as you cherish the memories. Please share my condolences with Ken, Ron, and Audrey, as well.”
