It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valorie Lynne Badder of Ionia, Michigan, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Joseph "Joey" Badder; and her husband Joel "Joe" Badder. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Hurt; her children, Christopher Helmes (Marla Castro), Christina Sandborn (Eric Thalison) and Haylee Haff-Badder; her grandchildren, Jacob Cantu (Kristina Cantu), Brendon Cantu and William "Will" Sandborn; her sister Vicki Nicewander (Harvey Dean Nicewander); and her friend Terri Welch (Bethany Wright).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ionia County Animal Shelter or to the Safe Haven Humane Society of Ionia.
