She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Vroman and Marjorie Vroman (Prentice); her husband Gary Calkins; her brother Charles; and her granddaughter Shelly Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Gamez of Ionia and Kevin Rowland (Ginny) of Texas; her siblings, Robert Vroman (Sandy) of Ionia and Kathy Mesecar (Gary) of Lake Odessa; her sisters-in-law, Sue Miser (Russell) and Sara Fosburg (Mark); her aunt Pat Vroman; her stepchildren, Michael Calkins, Lisa Gomez and Steven Calkins; and also, James, Amanda Rowland, Josh, Sonie Rowland and Juan DelaRosa. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
