He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Fox and Margaret Fox (Huhn); his son Brian; his siblings, Charles Fox, George Fox and Barb Fox; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Cook, Ken Schafer, Diane Fox, Dorothy Fox, Ardis Jegela and Beverly Schafer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Pinkney; his stepdaughter Belinda Schafer (Eric Pung) of Ionia; his sisters, Helen Cook of Portland and Lucille Schafer; his grandchildren, Riley Schafer, Owen Schafer, Ian Schafer and Sarah Schafer; his goddaughter Cindy Rozich; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Bennett, Sandy Green (Jerry), Max Pinkney (JoAnne), Norman Schafer and Terry Pinkney (Rebecca); and his pet Poppie Sue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
