She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Doppel and Eva Doppel (Schutter); her husband Donald Poort; her children, Kathleen Poort and Larry Poort; her son-in-law Vince Nevins; her sister Wilma Parker; her brother-in-law James Schutter; and her grandchildren, John Poort and Sarah Ursiny.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Nevins of Ionia; her sister Delores Schutter of Fremont; and her grandchildren, Sheri DeGraaf (Dave), Steven Poort (Tonia), Benson Poort (Rachelle), Jason Poort (Jennifer), Lisa Hunt (Isaac), Michelle Braun, Spencer Nevins (Michelle), Kelly Melle (Tom) and Scott Braun. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
