It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester W. James in Ionia, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion James and Ella James (Swainston); his wife Hazel Jean Parker; and his brother-in-law Sam VanderPloeg. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sparks (Kevin), Bill James (Sally), Russ James (Sheri) and Dennis James (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jackie, Christopher, Kaylee James, Eric (Katie), Kyle, Luke James, Aaron Radcliffe, Samantha James and Brendan Horn; his great grandchildren, Violet, Olive James, Lincoln and Raegan Knight; his siblings, Norma VanderPloeg, Carol Schiedel (Dick) and Roy James (Janet); and his close friend Betty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
