He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Clayton; his son Kevin S. Clayton II; his brothers, Kenneth (Pork) and Dale; and his nephew Ronnie McQueen.

He is survived by: his mother Mildred Yoder of Rockford; his wife Tonya; his children, Hadlie Clayton of Ionia and Raven Perez (Sarita) of Holland; his grandchildren, Aubree, Kylie, Braylee Clayton, Iliana, Neveah, Mya and Dani Perez; his sister Diana Wilson of Grand Rapids; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Clayton (Sarah), Kristin Szymanski, Michael Clayton (Vanity), Justin Clayton (Jessica) and Emily Wilson.

The family recommends memorial contributions in Kevin's memory be made to the wishes of the family.
