With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Peter Meyers of Ionia, Michigan, born in Portland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Meyers and Helen Meyers (Gensterblum); and his siblings, Robert Meyers and Geraldine VanderWoude (Chuck). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Meyers; his sons, Jason Meyers (Karen) and Shawn Meyers (Christi); his grandchildren, Anthony, Hunter, Carter, Gabrielle and Maxwell; his siblings, Elaine Ewing, Michael Meyers (Angie), Sue Luna and Theresa Babinski; his sister-in-law Linda Meyers; and his in-laws, Paul Fernholz (Elizabeth), Dolores Schmitt and Jan Maynard (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
