He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Slagel and Lona Slagel (Sherman); and his brothers, John and Fred Slagel. He is survived by: his children, Tamerah Metzger (Greg), Jimmy Slagel (Vicky), Edward Slagel, Amber Hengstebeck (Thomas) and Robert Slagel (Samantha); and his sister Roberta Wilcox. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
