It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vada Jean Baatz of Interlochen, Michigan, born in Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack P. Blaser and Inez Ellen Blaser (Stoops); her former husband Ken Wheelock; her husband Wilfred J. Baatz; her brothers, Robert and Richard; and her great grandchild Andrew Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Ken, Rebecca Barron (Doug) of Traverse City, Wendy Wheelock of Interlochen and Kenneth Wheelock (Kim) of Kingsley; her siblings, Donald "Jim" Blaser and Evelyn Hawkins (Bob) of Copemish; and her nieces and nephews, Gwyn Carter, Rena Bush-Luper, Michelle Mang-Englebrecht and Dawn Noonan-Hamilton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
