We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, at the age of 53, Sam Edward Kangas of Interlochen, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Kangas and Lawrence Kangas. He is survived by: his children, Cora Kangas, Emma Kangas and Eli Kangas; his siblings, Christine Miars (Dean), Dan Kangas (Kathy), Laureen Bulovic (Mark) and Judy Kangas (Kurt); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Schroeder, Sara Jane Marx, Kathryn Jones, Thomas Cross (Erina), Hanna Kangas and Jake Kangas. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, and many extended family.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Colorectal Cancer Awareness, in memory of Sam. Donations can be made securely through a website set up by family through the CRCA.
