She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Brewer and Eliza Brewer; her husband Simon Ballard Sr; and her sisters, Mae Retha Morton, Lou Anna Brewer and Bernice Bailey.
She is survived by: her brothers, Charlie Brewer, J. T. Brewer and Elijah Brewer; her children, Yolanda Jordan (Michael), Simon Ballard Jr and Melvin Ballard Sr; her grandchildren, Shonda Jordan (Edwin), Michael Young, Shaneka Jordan, Jeremy Jordan, Melvin Ballard Jr, Myrsadez Ballard and Myles Ballard; her great grandchildren, Micheal Jr, Mashayla, MiKyah, Milanna, Edwin Jr, Tayah, Brandon Jr, Justin, Armani and Aubrei; her close friend Elva Stewart; and her grandson Anthony Stewart. She is also survived by nieces nephews relatives and friends.
