She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Steele and Louise Steele; her husband Billy Ray Rhodes; and her siblings, Ernest, Odessa, Berneice, James, Sherman and Utrecht.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Rhodes; and her friend Johnnie Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
