He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Dean and Doris Dean; and his sisters, Shirley Knaggs and Barbara Mauk. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Dean of Imlay City; his children, Joseph Dean of Wapakoneta, Jeffrey Dean of Wapakoneta, Wendy Grahm of Needville and Amy Potvin of Clarkston; his grandchildren, Dereck Dean, Darin Dean, Lucas Potvin, Christopher Sebesta and Paige Smith; and his brothers, John Dean, Lavern Dean and Glenn Dean.
