With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Anne Grundy of Imlay City, Michigan, born in Wyandotte, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marilyn Anne left this world on June 14, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Grundy and Beatrice Grundy (Roberts); her siblings, Roy Grundy and Joyce Fruge; her friend Father Richard Welsh; and her cousin Alvin D. Grundy (Jeanette).

She is survived by: her friends, Joseph, Mary Welsh, Basil and Judy Welsh; her sister-in-law Gilda Grundy; her nieces, Julie Poyer (Aaron) and Michelle Mach (Brandon); her cousins, Deanne, Donna and Michelle Grundy; her nieces and nephews, Allison, Kelsey, Aaron, Kaitlin, Genna and Bella; her brother Monroe; and also Cameron.

“My sister & I loved when Auntie Joyce & Mar visited, and like us, the two of them had very distinct personalities. Joyce often came with enlightening Montessori or Catechesis of the Good Shepherd material in hand while Marilyn came with ideas to get the wiggles out. One of my favorite memories is when Auntie Mar took us to the playground where we proceeded to redecorate our Easter outfits with mud! We had the best time! And, that's what Aunts are for, right?! Until we meet again, Love Julie”
