James I. Makedonsky Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James I. Makedonsky of Imlay City, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James I. Makedonsky to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Makedonsky and Christine Makedonsky (Balabon); his grandson Matthew Rose; and his siblings, Katherine Sellheim, Marion Hagle, Samuel Makedonsky, Wayne Makedonsky and Bob Makedonsky.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Makedonsky; his children, Sheryl Rose (Gary) of Davison, James Makedonsky of Lake Orion, Janine Smith (Matt) of Davison and Kathy Seeds (Bob) of Waxahachie, TX; his grandchildren, Erin Grisham (Michael), Christina Rose, Jake Rose (Madison), Luke Smith, Archer Smith, Myla Smith, Daniel Brown (Ashlynn) and Angela Rose; his great grandchildren, Damien, Aerie and Janey; and his siblings, Donn Makedonsky (Annette) of Lapeer and Evelyn Bowers of Davison. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (90 Millville Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446). A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stiles Cemetery (1900 N Saginaw St, Lapeer, MI 48446).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
