It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel James Susalla of Imlay City, Michigan, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Susalla and Mary Susalla (Zulka); his grandson Mason Kapron; and his siblings-in-law, Kenny Lawrence, Mike Calverley, Lorraine Susalla and Sally Jandereski.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Susalla of Imlay City; his children, Lisa Kapron (Kreg) of Almont and Daniel Susalla (Carissa) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Chase Kapron (Mackenzie Buslepp), Blake Kapron, Daniel Susalla III and Gavin Susalla; his siblings, Larry Susalla (Sharon), Mary Jane Lawrence, Randy Susalla (Joyce), Harley Susalla (Debbie), Marlene Calverley, Kerry Susalla, Dennis Susalla and Carol Essenmacher (Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Tammy Jarrell (Darrell) and Gary Jandereski (Brenda).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Muir Funeral Home (2650 S Van Dyke Rd, Imlay City, MI 48444). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
