He is survived by: his mother Barbara Hehl (Ellison); his wife Kay (Hoppert); his sons, Spencer and Jared Hehl; and his siblings, Michelle Stephens (Kenny) of Jacksonville, Florida, Paula Freant (Wayne) of St. Peters and Timothy Hehl of Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
