It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. DeSloover of Ida, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeSloover and Mary Jane DeSloover (Bechberger); and his brother John DeSloover. He is survived by: his wife Laura DeSloover; his godmother Frances VanSlambrook; and his sister Dianne Pokrywki. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of James are suggested to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
