We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2020, at the age of 82, William Chalk (Huntington Woods, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Chalk and Helen Gladney Chalk; his wife Patricia Link; his daughter Karen Mendham; his grandchildren, Christopher Mendham and Chase Mendham; and his brother Tom Chalk.

“Bill was a big part of my life for many years. We first met in the 4th grade at Blessed Sacrament School, I move away after 7th grade as did Bill but we stayed in touch for a few years. Later, when I was in 10th grade at St James, Bill transferred in and we picked up where we left off. We ran Woodward together and when we graduated, each joined the Air Force. When Bill married Pat, I became a 3rd wheel but we continued to stay in touch even as our lives took different paths. I'll remember”
