“I just learned of Joseph's passing. We met at Shaarey Zedek in Southfield in 1963 and only knew each other throughout high school. I clearly remember that as a teenager, Joe was a kind and respectful young man, with a dry wit and brilliant mind. My deepest condolences to all those who were fortunate enough to know him throughout his adult life.”
