With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edgar Alford Jr. of Huntington Woods, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 26, 2024 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Alford and Edna Alford; his wife Elise; his children, John Alford III and Sarah Alford; his stepchildren, Shannon Smith (Owen Hurley), Brendan Smith, Michelle Smith and Sarah Smith; his siblings, Belinda Crider (Mike) and Everett Bradley Smith Jr. (Lori); and his nieces and nephews, Kristin Smith (Dan), Benjamin Crider (Liz), Jacob Smith and Shannon Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
