It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Malamud of Huntington Woods, Michigan, who passed away on June 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Malamud and Esther Malamud; his parents-in-law, Ben and Ann Nosanchuk; and his sister-in-law Miriam Nosanchuk.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Malamud (Nosanchuk); his children, Ilene (Marc Hirsch), Karen (William Koenig), Ken and Ted Malamud (Hua); his grandchildren, Brett Koenig (Sonita), Kyle Koenig (Meredith Stopka), Sydney Hirsch (Sam Argyle) and Michael Hirsch; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Sander Papo. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
